Defender fitment FAQ

How much does a Defender kit cost?
It depends on which parts you go for and the finish you want. A single spoiler or arch kit is a very different job to a full exterior upgrade. Message us your Defender model on WhatsApp and we'll give you an exact price, no obligation.
Will it actually fit my Defender?
Yes. Everything is model-specific to the L663, and we match it to your wheelbase. The 90 takes different running boards, racks and mats to a 110 or 130. Tell us your year and model and we confirm the right parts before anything is ordered.
Do you fit roof light pods?
Yes, light pod installation is available. Message us with your Defender model and we'll confirm what's involved for your car.
How long does fitment take?
Anywhere from one to five days, depending entirely on what the car is in for. As a guide: a roof light pod is roughly 3.5 to 4 hours, wheel arch fenders around 2.5 to 3. A full exterior kit is a different job again. We'll give you a realistic timeframe for your Defender before you book.
Do I have to leave my car overnight?
For most Defender work, yes. Smaller single jobs can be turned around in a day, but bigger builds run across several. The Defender takes real care and attention, and we're often stripping panels off to fit new ones, so we'd rather book the time and do it right than rush it back to you. You'll know exactly what's involved before you commit.
My Defender is ceramic coated. Does that matter?
Yes, and it's worth telling us before you book. Wherever a new part bonds to the car, the coating has to come off that area first. Adhesive won't hold reliably on a ceramic-coated surface, and the part can lift down the line. We only remove it where the new parts actually sit, so the rest of your coating is left alone.
Can you fit parts I bought elsewhere?
Yes, we fit kits from any supplier, not just parts bought through us. Send us the details first so we can confirm compatibility with your Defender.
Where are you, and do I have to travel?
Our workshop is in Craughwell, Co. Galway (H91 AY76), easy from Galway city and the West of Ireland. If you only need the parts, we ship nationwide across Ireland.
What's the finish like, and does it last?
Clean, factory-style fit with secure mounting and no poor panel gaps. We look after the finish too. See Charlie's review above, where we topped up his kit with sealant months later. Our 5.0 Google rating reflects the standard.
